Name: Mohammad Haeri Hometown: Tehran, Iran Education: M.D. from Shahid Beheshti University, PhD from SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY. When you started at the CVR: 2004 Why I became interested in vision research: I was always fascinated with eye, and grew more interest by comparing the eye with a camera when I was in high school. I got very interested in vision when I started medical school. Current Position: Postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Knox’s lab. Current Research Focus: Retinal degeneration in human and animal models. Future Plans: To know more about eye diseases and their potential treatments. |
